You know the feeling the same as I do. The day before an adventure is a mess. So many different feelings all having their turn in your thoughts. Did I pack enough? Did I pack too much? Am I packing my fears or my needs? Am I ready? Should I even be doing this?

It’s a lot to deal with and there is no resolution other than to wait for tomorrow, for the start.

The day of, there’s no looking back you are here, you are as ready as you are going to be and suddenly you are off! The day of is easier because there is less to tinker about. You are going, you are moving, and although there are challenges that await you, the most important step has been accomplished, you were there for the start. This is my start, the angst of questioning whether I should, is gone. I am in the race, my adventure is underway, and in the distance, there is a feeling that I am chasing.

I only hope that my adventure through Bici Bike Velo can offer something to you. If you are here reading my first post, then I’m guessing that a bicycle has once brought a smile to your face as it has done for me countless times. I hope to share my adventures and the adventures of others. If I can get you to go out and chase smiles on two wheels, then I’m in the right place doing the right thing.

Welcome, I hope you stick around for a bit.
